For better comfort, you should tuck the baby's lower arm around your waist.

This is the ideal position if you are encountering problems latching on, or if your baby is small in size. This position enables more control of your baby's head.
The Football Hold is similar to the cross-cradle hold, but the baby is not resting on the abdomen.
